Courses: The Honours courses offered in JMC are- Economics, English, History, Hindi, Mathematics, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. The college also offers B.A. (programme) courses with an interesting assortment of subjects for students wide learning. Other than the Honours degree in Commerce, JMC also offers a professional degree programme called Bachelor of Elementary Education. It is a four year course which enables the students to teach at the elementary level (Grade I to Grade VIII).
For those students who are unable to join a regular course due to some external constrains, the Non Collegiate Women's Education Board offers various courses including B.Com (programme) B.A. (programme) courses both in English and Hindi medium.
Seats available: JMC supports 2400 seats for regular students in various courses other than seats for Non-Collegiate women.
Admission: The admission to Bachelor's programme in Jesus & Mary College, like all DU colleges, depends upon the percentage of marks obtained in 10+2 or its equivalent. A student aspiring for courses offered here have to keep abreast with the required cut-off marks that are declared every year by the college.
The English department conducts an entrance test for admission to the B.A. (Hons) in English.
Important Dates and Deadline (application procedures): The forms for admission are available from 1st June to 15TH June. The college accepts centralized form where college specific courses are marked and applied for.
The minimum age for admission to first year degree courses is 17 years before 1st of October of the year in which a student is seeking admission.
Admission to B.El.ED: Admission to this professional course at Jesus & Mary College is done through a centralized written and oral test conducted by Faculty of Education, University of Delhi.
JMC also offers sports quota and reserves a few seats for Christian candidates.

Expected cut-offs: Its difficult to speculate cut offs Specially since there can be a mere false scare and at best half relief. However, CBSE results themselves are a good referent of how high or how low the cut-offs may fall. One can still hope to make it to the preferred colleges through sports or ECAS quota or wait for the second cut off list.
Admission in post graduate courses: For admission to the postgraduate programme in Jesus & Mary College candidates first need to register themselves with the respective faculty of the University of Delhi. Minimum age for admission in a Masters programme is 20 years. The College offers tutorial classes for the postgraduate programme that are supplemented with the lectures at the University.
