How to apply to Hindu College
Application Information:

Application and Admission Procedure for Under-Graduate Courses:

Application for admission to the college should be made on the prescribed form and should be submitted by the last date announced for that purpose.
A separate application should be submitted for each course if applying for more than one course.
The common admission forms of Delhi University are accepted for all the courses except the following:

B.A. (Honours) English
Sports Admission
Extra-curricular Activities Admission
Hostel Admission

(The College accepts only Hindu College Forms for the above courses)
Admission on the basis of Sports/ECA: In addition to the regular application forms, students seeking admission on the basis of excellence in sports/ECA are required to apply on separate application forms available at the sale counter.

The ECA trials for the selection are held in the first week of July.

Examinations recognized by the University of Delhi:

Senior School Certificate (12 years) Examination of the CBSE, New Delhi, or an examination recognized as equal thereto.
Or
Pre- University Examination (2 years after ten years schooling) of an Indian University recognized by the University of Delhi.
Or
Intermediate Examination (or pre-medical examination in case of science courses) of an Indian University/Board or an Examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years) conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
General Certificate Education Examination of the United Kingdom, with
- Pass marks in five subjects at ordinary level.
  And
- At least in two subjects at advanced level. The two advanced level courses may be chosen either from among the five ordinary level subjects or from outside this group as prescribed by the University of Delhi.

Age Requirement: No person will be eligible to the University in the first year of a degree course unless he/she is seventeen years of age before the first day of October in the year in which he/she seeks admission.

There is an entrance exam for B.A. (Honours) English every year. It is a one hour written test conducted in the college and students are selected for the test based on a cut-off list.

Documents required:The applicants must carry the following documents in original and one self attested copy of each:

Provisional Certificate from the Principal of the school/college last attended.

Sale and receipt of application forms for admission in the college: 1st and 2nd week of June
Notification of first admission list by the college: around 25th June
Trial dates for admission through cultural society auditions: 1st week of July
