In a bid to promote research among students and to encourage them for studies in Science, DU organized two workshops, in association with INMAS (Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences) & SSPL (Solid State Physics Laboratory).
The workshops were divided in to two parts – the first being a presentation on theory and the second being a practical session, with the students handling lab equipment.
The workshops gave students an opportunity to witness actual research techniques/processes in action – something that they only knew of at a theoretical level. They also got to attend lectures by Professors from JNU and IIT Delhi.
