Delhi University’s Central Placement Cell which was previously opened only for undergraduate students has now been opened for students pursuing post-graduation as well. The registration process has been made online both for students and recruiters this year.
The registration process for CPC started on September 29 and students in the final year can apply till October 31. Said Seema M Parihar, chairperson, CPC, “Though there are vacation in DU till Diwali, students can still register for CPC online. There will be no queues for filling up forms this time. Besides, all notices and general information will also be put up on the website.’’ Parihar said that it was another step for the university towards becoming world-class. “For having a state-of-the-art university, we should go online with our other processes. We aim to make CPC like DU’s job site,’’ she added.
CPC will also hold workshops to groom the students, brush up their communication and analytical skills who register, to make them employable. The interaction between the companies and the registered students is expected to begin in November this year.
